Parting is such sweet sorrow

Heyy there bloggers! For those of you who didn't know, i'm a huge fan of old english literature (yeah, weird... i know). This, of course includes the works of the great William Shakespeare. In today's post, rather then boring you all with today's events, i would like to talk about one of my favourite Shakspeare quotes which happens to be from the play Romeo and Juliet. Just in case you can't read the cursive on the picture, i'll type it out for you below.
"Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say goodnight till' it be morrow."
I think that this quote is, if not the best then one of the best quotes in Romeo & Juliet. Those who don't believe in young love think that this love story is unrealistic, impulsive and completely naive. Well i'm not going to attempt to chnage their opinions because their right. Young love, in fact all kinds of love is naive and impulsive. We make decisions on impulse without properly thinking them through and can cause mistakes. also, when in love we take chances that make us seem naive. We hope for the best, but are never prepared for the worst.
Ever since the beginning of time, humans have saught inspiration for love from other people's stories, whether they be fictional or real. Personally, i find mine from various films and books but one of the most important ones is Romeo & Juliet. It shows unconditional love filled with passion. And when it all comes down to it, that's what us girls really want. Tue, passionate, unconditional love. Yep, it's as simple as that.
But why did I choose this quote? In my opinion it starts of the plot. While at the Capulet ball, Romeo and Juliet's eyes meet and it's love at first sight. Before leaving for the night, romeo says this quote. Once they are married, Romeo and Juliet fear the reality that they will have to face and the consequences to follow their decision. Their love is so strong that they never wish to be parted from each other because deep down they know that is a member of either family is to find out of their decision then they may never be reunited.
Yeah, so those are just my thoughts. Comment on your thoughts about whether or not you agree or disagree. I'm open to hearing new ideas and opinions. Hope you enjoyed it.
BON SOIRE MES AMIES!!!
